Piccadilly Circus Before Digital London
Piccadilly Circus is now known for bright displays, shopping crowds, traffic, and the energy of central London. But years ago, it had a completely different mood. The streets were filled with horse carriages, early vehicles, people in formal coats, wet stone roads, and grand old buildings. Instead of modern LED screens, the area had classic architecture and simple illuminated shopfronts. The location was still busy, but it felt slower and more elegant. Looking at it now, it almost feels like a scene from another world.
