No Snacks on the Train

For tourists, this feels surprisingly strict because a quick sip of water or a bite of pastry seems harmless. But Singapore’s public transport is famous for being clean, and rules like this help keep it that way. A spilled drink can create sticky floors, bad smells, and delays for everyone. It sounds extreme, but once you see the trains, it suddenly makes sense.
