Divided Attention
This park bench moment looks casual, but the hidden sign is distraction. One person is watching closely, while the other glances away with a phone in hand. It does not automatically mean the conversation is bad. People today are often pulled between real life, notifications, plans, and social pressure. Still, divided attention is easy to feel. When someone keeps looking over their shoulder, checking their screen, or turning away mid-conversation, the other person notices. Communication is not only about hearing words. It is also about showing that the person in front of you matters right now.
